Wind Surf - Mediterranean Cruise September 2005

Jim & Betts Huff as “Cruise Experts” for Incentive Group Inc. had the opportunity to assist on this Windsurf program, what a wonderful experience...Not only did I sell the group and Betts sold all of the nightly turn down gifts.. We were asked to go as “cruise experts” to assist with this group of 80 media buyers from the West/Midwest.

Wind Surf is the former Club Med I which was purchased and refit by Windstar Cruises in 1999. The Windstar team reduced the size from over 400 to 308 passengers by adding a complete Wind Surf Spa and making 2 room suites out of the top tier cabins. At 308 passengers the Wind Surf is very comfortable and the crew of over 200 serve your cruise extremely well.

The ship itself is very much like the original Wind Star and Wind Spirit, but with more places to dine, lounge, shop and experience cruise life. There is an on-board photographer and studio, an on-board auction, a fitness room and separate gym, a business center with computer center, library and conference room.

The Bistro, Compass Rose Bar and Terrace Bar are all additions to the original 148passenger vessels. Of course, The Restaurant, The Veranda, The Casino and The Wind Surf Lounge are each larger to take care of the additional passengers.....AND there are good entertainers in BOTH the Wind Surf Lounge and the Compass Rose. In fact, on our voyage the Compass Rose stayed open until the sun came up at the request of some passengers who “passed the hat” for the crew and band to stay until the wee hours.

The Wind Surf is a great incentive. With her sailing areas being the lower Caribbean out of Barbados in the Fall and Winter months or the Classic Mediterranean in the Summer the Wind Surf has carefully chosen prime ports for the ultimate small ship cruising experiences.

When choosing a Windstar Cruise vessel, the Wind Surf offers a variety of cabins and suites, evening dining choices, more lounges with casual entertainment and a complete Spa. You cannot make a bad choice of any Windstar ship, however if you are looking for more choices choose the Wind Surf.

The Wind Surf sails in the lower Caribbean in Winter and across the Western Med in summer months.

Call me for a complete evaluation...You will be very glad you did...
