It
has always been Worldwide’s pleasure to host our annual pre-holiday
season party and to enjoy the company of many of our suppliers
who work so hard in the background to help Worldwide deliver the
most professional and fun experiences for our clients programs.
At
the same time invitations are also extended to any of our clients
who are in South Florida during the Holiday Season
 This
year’s party was once again the place to be, held at
the home of Diana and Steve Bloss, many of our friends and
colleagues graced us with their presence.
As
in the past, the fun, wine and stories flowed fast and furious helped
by a steady diet of the most delectable hors d’ouvres hand passed by
our personable young ‘waiter”.
During the course of the evening Worldwide likes to honor at least
one of the ‘backroom” cruise line people, the ones who do all the
extra work and get little if any recognition, we felt that amongst the many who deserved to be acknowledge,
one in particular stood out.
The
program was one of Jornee Unlimited’s, and to
 further
complete the recognition, the Account Manager of the program which
earned the honor – Mr. Christopher McDonald and the owner of Jornee
Unlimited – Mr. Jeffery Hockersmith were on hand to assist with the
presentation.
The
specifics of the program where very complex and as the winners of
the cruise were all Chinese people, the program presented many
logistical hurdles. Held on-board one of Royal Caribbean’s ships in
Europe the program was escorted on-board by Ms. Agnes Garcia
of RCI with her assistance and dedication the program proved to be a
major success.
Whilst Royal Caribbean operates several cruises from
and in Chinese waters, the Chinese side of a European cruise proved
to be a very different matter.
