Dear Mr. Bloss:

On behalf of our Board of Directors, volunteers and staff, I want to express our gratitude on your decision to benefit the American Cancer Society of Puerto Rico to receive 100 % of the money raised by the charity cruise Silver Cloud.

The gesture from you and your Company of presenting to Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company this special project in hope it was going to be successful its more than precious to us. Thank you for your trust and for believing in our work and for choosing our cause. Thanks to you, and to all of the Companies involved in this historic initiative we have raised $150,613.00. As you know this money will be use to help complete the “Puerto Rico Hope Lodge”, currently being build to provide free temporary lodging to cancer patients who must travel away from home for treatment and their families and where we are going to integrate our Children’s Lodge “Hogar Niños Que Quieren Sonreír” which has been operating for the last 18 years.

Once again, thanks for the unique opportunity you gave to all the volunteers and staff of the American Cancer Society to enjoy this finest cruising experience. We hope that you are as pleased as we are with the extraordinary result of this great idea and you consider us once again for any other project you wish to develop with a charity organization.

In grateful appreciation,

Lillian Santos, Psy.D.
