Located on remote, yet accessible Marco
Island, the Marco Beach Ocean Resort in truly a Diamond among Sand
Dollars. Marco Island was developed as a blue collar, middle class
vacation haven in the 1960s and has come a long way since, now with the
introduction of this world class property it has really "arrived".
In January of 2002 a new era began for Marco Island.
The Marco Beach Ocean Resort was born of
regal ancestry! The developers of some of the finest golf communities in
neighboring fashionable Naples created a truly upscale, luxurious and
manicured resort. Situated on a a deep white sandy beach facing west
towards the Gulf of Mexico one is able to enjoy the most amazing sunsets
from the balcony of your suite.
The Marco Beach Ocean Resort comprises 100-suite accommodation. Suites
facilities include mini kitchens, balcony, separate living and sleeping
quarters, frette linens, marble baths large enough to entertain your best
friends in and every imaginable high tech communications device anyone
might want to use.
Any reputable, experience development company can all build steel, glass
and concrete buildings on fabulous pieces of land, but it takes a vision
to make it succeed. The owners had that vision. They imported an
expensive and proven management team, hired chefs trained in the fine art
of culinary events, bought in well trained front office personnel who
address all guests as Mister or Miss, even the doorman speaks with a
Harvard accent. The physical structure is not only eye appealing, it
offers some of the finest facilities in the USA.
The Toulouse Lounge and the Sale e Pepe restaurant give the feeling you
have just arrived in a stately manor house in Tuscany. A martini bar and
an extraordinary selection of world-class vintages from around the globe
complete the ambiance of the formal dining options on site. Add to this
the pool bar and grill, the beach bar, 24-hour room service and you know
you have arrived at a special place in the sun.
Other facilities and services include, a complete spa with heated swimming
pool and whirlpools; sauna; steam and massage services; concierge;
business center and an executive conference center for VIP meetings. Add
to this their own private country club that is only open to Marco Beach
Ocean Resort guests and members of the Country Club, Fiddler's Creek golf
course and country club is just a few miles away and home to the first of
what will eventually be five championship quality golf courses. The
country club offers additional gourmet dining options, group party venues.
Close by the main resort is located the full service marina, with its "Old
Florida" style restaurant, deep sea charter fishing boats and all the
other amenities one expects to find at a quality marina facility, and it
is all part of the resorts facilities for your guests to enjoy.
The West Coast of South Florida offers many and varied local
excursions for your group, charter fishing expeditions, marine dolphin
sightseeing tours and for the adventurous, airboat rides in the Everglades
National Park to look for the elusive alligators and crocodiles.
Nearby are the islands of Sanibel and Captiva and just a little further
afield, the Ford and Edison museum to name but just a few of the
opportunities available. Naples is the nearest small city and houses its
own "Rodeo Drive" as well as a number of fashionable, excellent
restaurants. The Naples area must also have the largest concentration of
golf course anywhere, the last time I looked, there where seventy-one!.
Enough golf for even the most fanatical golfer.
When thinking of Florida's Southwest coast consider the Marco Beach Ocean
Resort for your next board meeting, retreat, business round table or pure
incentive. You will discover Diamonds can come from Sand Dollars, but
only at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort.
