Here every conceivable kind of refreshment is available*: cocktails, fruit
juices, aperitifs.
A keycard is available for each cabin, enabling you to lock your cabin
when you are away from it.
For safety reasons, please do not leave your children unattended.
In the day, leisure wear is recommended. For excursions, bring practical
clothes, as well as comfortable shoes. At night, every kind of elegance is
permitted!
Upon disembarking in Pointe à Pitre, a few day-use rooms are at disposal
for all passengers. This service is offered on a complimentary basis.
Before your departure, you must have all the necessary papers—passport,
visa(s), vaccination certificate(s)—required by the countries you will be
visiting.
220 V AC 50 hertz is supplied to all plugs, in compliance with European
standards.
Embarkation procedures and baggage inspection will be carried out by our
stewardess when you arrive on board. To simplify customs procedures,
please hand the stewardess your passport, which will be returned to you at
the end of the cruise.
Excursion programs are available, depending on stopovers and ports of
call.
Every day, depending on the stopover, our entertainment staff will put on
a show, dance soirée or theme evening.
Our ships are equipped with fast small craft which will enable you to go
ashore in no time. For your comfort during stopovers, there are regular
ship-to-shore and shore-to-ship shuttles.
For your laundry*, our housekeeper can be of assistance.
A wide choice of books and video tapes are at your disposal throughout the
cruise.
"Our Logbook", published daily, tells you about life on board and daily
calls stops. It will be placed in your cabin every evening.

If you want to send* postcards or letters to your nearest and dearest, the
information desk is at your disposal.
Continental breakfast will be served in your cabin on request or in the
form of an American buffet in the Panoramic Restaurant. Lunch is buffet
style and served on the terrace of the Panoramic Restaurant, overlooking
the sea. At night, dinner “French-style” will be served at tables, in the
Gourmet Restaurant.
A physician and pharmacy* are available on board. If you have a
prescription, please bring your special medicines with you.
A minibar is available in your cabin. It will be restocked daily.
The official currency on board is the Euro. Credit cards such as Visa,
Mastercard and American Express, cash and traveller’s cheques are all
accepted.
Branded goods*, gifts* and essential items are available.
Smoking is allowed. We kindly ask you to smoke in the outside areas of the
ship. Indoor areas, lounges, dining room, cabins, reception etc., are all
no-smoking areas.
To keep in shape, you may attend a gentle gym class every morning on the
Sun Deck. With open access to the sea from their leisure beaches, our ship
offers you the chance to windsurf, water-ski, scuba dive and deep-sea dive*
(in the Caribbean only). Our sports organizer instructs in all these
activities. Needless to say, all these activities are weather-and
location-permitting, depending on where our ships happen to be sailing.
To send or receive communications anywhere in the world, you may use our
satellite communication system* (fax, phone).
Tips are not obligatory and are left to your discretion. Shipboard
gratuities are included aboard Great Lakes cruises only.
A personal safe is available in your cabin, where you may store your
valuables.
*These optional services and
facilities are not included. You will be billed for them at the end of the
cruise.
