Visit Cape Spear National Historic Site and Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, where millions of seabirds breed every summer; Terra Nova National Park, the habitat of moose, bears, and bald eagles; Bonavista Bay, where drifting icebergs are frequently spotted; and magnificent Bonne Bay, a geological wonderland. Also explore the picturesque old town of Twillingate; Ramea Island, a traditional fishing community accessible only by boat; and the island’s lovely capital, St. John’s.

On this incredible voyage, discover the European influence in St.-Pierre, a charming town of quaint shops and bright wooden houses; the Gaspe Peninsula, where Jacques Cartier first claimed Canada for France; and in Quebec City, North America’s only walled metropolis. Whether we’re cruising via ship or aboard Zodiacs or exploring Antarctica on foot, we’ll witness an ever-changing panorama of tabular icebergs, snowcapped mountains, bustling penguin rookeries, and a variety of other wildlife, including whales, seals, and seabirds. While the itinerary is flexible to account for changing weather and ice conditions, planned outings include Port Lockroy, King George Island, Paradise Bay, Deception Island, Gerlache Strait, and stunning Lemaire Channel.
