Industry mourns Tom McNulty

The cruise industry lost long-time veteran Thomas McNulty, who died suddenly after sustaining a non-life threatening hip injury. He was 82.
McNulty spent his career in the travel industry with more than 40 years in the cruise business. He worked for such companies as White Star, Holland America and Costa in various sales management roles.

‘Tom was a genuine soul with a big heart and extraordinary compassion for his family and friends. I will miss him very much,’ said friend and former colleague Rick Sasso, president and ceo of MSC Cruises USA.

Born in Brooklyn, McNulty moved to Florida in the early 1970s. He is survived by Pat, his wife of 57 years, four sons and eight grandchildren.

A wake will be held Sunday at the Landmark Funeral Home in Hollywood, Fla., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Nativity Church in Hollywood.
