Incentive Research Foundation - Broadmore, May 2010 |
||||||||||||||||
Worldwide's President - James Castle, attended the IRF 2010 event
hosted by the Broadmore Resort in Colorado Springs. "The Broadmore" is just an amazing resort hotel, a piece of Americana history. Incredible well managed, and maintained, indeed manicured is a better word, one is hard put to find a blade of grass out of place. With a staff of 1400 well trained professionals the service and hospitality was second to none. The event itself was extremely well organized with credit going to Lisa and Chris Perks and their team. One cannot discount the generosity of so many local vendors who partnered together to make this event such a success. This was a wonderful opportunity not only to rub shoulders with the top people in the Industry and believe me they where all there. But also to learn from how colleagues are handling the current business environment. Very illuminating where the IRF's Round Table sessions which produce up to the minute snaps shots of our industry and the challengers we are all dealing with as well as different view points and perspectives on creative ideas to generate more business. The opportunity to mix and mingle with our industries decision makers is a large part of the reason for attending, to be able to meet them in a casual atmosphere where they are relaxed and receptive is huge. As both a buyer and technically also a vendor - the event afforded me the chance to put Worldwide's name in front of many potential clients as well a both enhance and renew old relationships, which as any marketing person knows is what we constantly strive to do. Worldwide Cruise Associates has become the go to name in the Incentive industry for cruise programs, our professional staff have been instrumental in putting together hundreds of creative programs for our travel partners. Best known for our knowledge and reach in sourcing the unusual, whether it is a cruise destination or a particularly hard to meet cruise requirement we invariable come through with workable options that fit clients budgets. Some of the more unusual projects we are closing on are; The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. A ship to position to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup. Living accommodation for workers dealing with the oil rigs in the Gulf. We also recently where instrumental in putting together a luxury ship charter donation for the American Cancer Society. If you have even an of the wall idea for a ship program - don't discount it until you have spoke with us, our clients can confirm we do sometime make miracle happen. |
