Jack Anderson  tapped for new senior Seabourn role

The fast-growing Yachts of Seabourn tapped veteran cruise executive Jack Anderson, who held executive roles at Carnival Corp. and Holland America Line, as svp sales and marketing.

It’s a new position, reporting to Pamela Conover, Seabourn president and ceo.

Until a few years ago, Anderson was Carnival Corp.’s vp marketing, spearheading the cross-brand marketing initiatives of all of Carnival’s autonomous North American operating brands as the World’s Leading Cruise Lines.

He had joined Carnival in 1999 after more than two decades with Holland America Line and Windstar Cruises where his ultimate role was svp marketing, sales and public relations.

‘We are gratified that Jack has agreed to come back aboard and offer us the benefit of his tremendous experience,’ Conover said, citing Anderson’s ‘insightful understanding of the Seabourn brand, combined with the knowledge and perspective he gained during rapid expansions at both Holland America and Carnival.’

Seabourn is more than doubling in size in three years. The company has just taken delivery of Seabourn Sojourn, which was named in London last week.

Anderson begins his new duties immediately.
