SS ROTTERDAM arrives in Rotterdam and prepares for her new role |

In a much anticipated event, the 1959-built SS ROTTERDAM is set to open to the public as an hotel and tourist attraction in February 2010. After years of speculation and restoration, from lay up in the Bahamas and moving between various shipyards in Gibraltar, Poland and Wilhelmshaven, Germany, she returned to her former Holland America Line homeport, the city of Rotterdam, on August 4.
