Greek press reports that Hellenic Seaways has acquired easyCruise Ltd, today. The EasyCruise brand, founded by "serial entrepreneur" Stelios Haji-Ioannou in 2005 has been operating cruises to the Greek islands and Turkey. Hellenic Seaways has acquired the exclusive license to use the easyCruise brand for Mediterranean destinations but with one exception, that of the vessel EASYCRUISE LIFE (ex LEV TOLSTOY, NATASHA, PALMIRA, THE JASMINE, FARAH) which began sailing seven day cruises to six Greek islands, Syros, Samos, Kalymnos, Kos, Paros and Mykonos and a call at Bodrum, Turkey |
