More moves at the Executive Level

Recent moves in the musical chair game saw the departure of Maggie Mantia a long term veteran of the cruise industry departs Regent Seven Seas Cruises Charter and Incentive department.  Regent does not appear to have any immediate plans to replace her so Mario Villalobos will be wearing two hats but no doubt only drawing one salary... the lesser no doubt!  Ken Watson also departed from Regent Seven Seas Cruises moving his file box across town to Silversea cruises.

Silversea management hasn’t given any indication of further changes in the sales and marketing structure beyond this week’s abrupt departures of David Morris, evp worldwide sales and marketing, and Marilyn Conroy, svp sales and marketing for the Americas.  Silversea also appointed a new Chief Information Officer - Fabio Agostini to be VP and CIO, replacing Tim Rand, who left the company on Tuesday. Agostini will report to Alvarino Biasotti, Silversea’s worldwide financial controller, based in Monaco, and travel between the Monaco and Fort Lauderdale offices.
