Attention Canadian Clients - CMITS 2002 Worldwide will be exhibiting at CMITS - August 26-28 in Toronto. Joining the Worldwide Team will be representatives from SuperClubs' Grand Lido Resorts, Star Clippers and Viking River Cruises. As usual, we will be more than happy to share with you the latest news and up dates in the cruise industry. Looking for the best all inclusive resorts? Bill Dwyer with the Grand Lido Resorts in Jamaica will happily explain to you why these are the BEST properties and extremely affordable. Viking River Cruises is the world's largest river ship operators. With new ships and more itinerary choices than ever, you should check out this option for your clients considering Europe. Star Clipper returns to the Athens next summer for one of their most popular cruises. Larry Haugh will be joining us and have all the latest developments for his three ships. What our clients are saying Here is an excerpt from a letter we recently received from our client: "I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank you for all of your assistance, support and partnering with our client's incentive cruise on board Zenith last week. It certainly was a pleasure to work with you, and I believe our program was greatly enriched as a direct result of your intervention! Thank you for looking after all of the small details so fastidiously!" - Don Jagoda Associates That's the Worldwide Team at work for you! EITBM Summary Worldwide would like to thank all of our clients - old and new - who came by our stand in Geneva at the EITBM Show. The show, while a great success for us, was marred by travel difficulties for many of the hosted buyers. One of the biggest topics was the new show, IMEX, next April in Frankfurt. We would really like to hear your opinions about it. Will you will be attending both shows next year? OR Will you only attend one? -- and, of course, which one. Please send an email to Steve Bloss at sbloss@cruiseco.com and let us know your comments.
Silversea Cruises As mentioned in last month's newsletter, Worldwide is now a marketing partner with Silversea. Watch for our review of cruising on the Silver Whisper last month in the coming weeks. Needless to say it was a great experience and one that many of your clients would really like to be a part of AND CAN AFFORD.
Great deals This month we are featuring a selection of reduced rate cruises on Windstar's three sister sailing vessels - The Wind Star, Wind Spirit and Wind Song. They each carry 148 passengers with all outside staterooms. The newer Wind Surf carries 308 passengers again in all outside staterooms. While certainly not new in the incentive market, Windstar continues to get rave reviews for a great incentive product.
**ALL DATES SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALES. ALL RATES PLUS PORT CHARGES AND TAXES. Other Charter & Group Opportunities
UP SELL YOUR 3 AND 4 NIGHT CLIENTS!!! Several cruise lines are now offering 4 and 5 night cruises that will have your clients participants out of the office for FEWER number of days than the traditional 3 and 4 night cruises. The itineraries are better and you have more flexibility with departure days. Resorts - Grand Lido Sans Souci Limited space still available at Grand Lido Sans Souci all inclusive resort in Jamaica for 2002 at $150.00 per person per night.
More New Itineraries While too numerous to list, many cruise line have announced another round of new itineraries. While primarily in the U.S. at this stage, watch for more to come. Cruising in the U.S. has never been easier with major cruise ships now operating out of numerous ports all around the country. Call one of the experts at Worldwide to get the last news and see how it affects air costs for your groups.
YOUR CLIENT WANTS THE BIGGEST AND BEST AND HAS THE BUDGET TO GET IT! The bad news is they has to wait to until 2004. Even worse news - they might have to fight off advance bookings that are being taken earlier than any other cruise ship in history! What is FOR SURE is that Queen Mary II will be the biggest and the most expensive (try a budgeted price of $800,000,000.00 USD) cruise ship ever built or on the books to build. Our advance meetings with management indicate that this ship will truly be unlike anything else in the market today and very possibly the future. Call us for details.
