Frankfurt hosted the 2016 IMEX Trade Show which was attended by Worldwide's President - James Castle.  

Frankfurt is conveniently located in pretty much the center of Europe and as such receives visitors from all over the continents as well as many overseas visitors with 3977 hosted buyers from 87 countries attending this year, this is a trade show which produces.

Each year the show brings in a larger crowd with attendance peaking on the 2nd of the 3 day show with a logged in number of 8932 visitors over the shows opening days.

The show was once again a great opportunity to meet with both our suppliers and run into clients, both old and new. 

The opportunity to attend the show came up pretty much at the last moment when Mr. Castle was able to join a small industry group for a site inspection of Avalon Waterways ship - the Avalon Tapestry.  The cruise started in Budapest and ended in Passau just a train ride away from Frankfurt so it seemed opportune to take the train over to Frankfurt and spend a couple of days at the show.

This proved to be a worthwhile investment as several new and interesting supplier contact where made as well as some prospective clients and some up-to date product knowledge, brochures and so on padded out the briefcase for the return trip.
