Steve Bloss attends Site Classic in Tucson Sept 7 to 10 | |||||||||||||
This was an excellent networking event for a limited number of supplier and buyers in a very relaxed atmosphere. While the first day of golf was rained out with some local flooding the event proceeded and was very well organized. Events such as this allow for great one on one conversations versus a trade show with ample time to visit with old and new contacts alike. The very good news was a presentation of very recent research predicting a 5.6% increase in Incentive Travel coming up in 2015. Most people I spoke with were enjoying a good 2014 and seeing an increase in 2015 business potential. Even with all of the world’s many problems our industry seems to be moving ahead at a brisk pace. - Contributed by : Steve Bloss SITE Press release: Last week, SITE Classic 2014 welcomed more than 250 guests to The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The location served as a perfect venue for the SITE Foundation's premier fundraising event. Surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran Desert, delegates had the opportunity to golf and develop business relationships. This year's event was such a huge success that a record amount of funds was raised to support the SITE Foundation. This record fundraising will allow us to increase future investments in research, education and advocacy for incentive travel. |
