Worldwide moves to the "Cloud" | ||||||||||||
Last month Worldwide moved their operation to the Cloud. This move, not taken lightly, was chosen for several reasons, to stay up to date with the latest technology, to enable our staff to access our "virtual" office from wherever they are in the world in a much faster and more secure manner, and also with the view of assisting our clients to access their programs data easier and faster as well as to be able to keep in touch with their Worldwide sales person wherever they may be. Since it went "live" Worldwide has had several of it's staff travelling, both on-board ships which are noticeably difficult with internet connections due to their band width problems and overseas in some remote areas where internet access and speed are generally of poor quality, happily even in these scenarios our staff reported they had little to no problems in using the new Cloud based virtual office. Worldwide continues to invest both in technology and its staff to be to be ahead of the curve which downstream also benefit our clients both in the service, delivery as well as purchasing for their programs. Read about our latest hire - Carol Berwager, ex-Holland America's long time Corporate & Charter Manager joining Worldwide's sales team. |
