Viking Cruises opened the full slate of 2015 Mediterranean
itineraries for the new oceangoing Viking Star, as well as select 2016 sailings.
The company earlier revealed maiden voyages in the Mediterranean for the spring
and summer of 2015. The ship will remain the Mediterranean during the quiet
winter season. The company says the 2015 maiden voyages are nearly sold-out, so
select 2016 itineraries are now also available for booking. New itineraries include the eight-day “Romantic Mediterranean” cruise from Barcelona to Rome and the eight-day voyage from Rome to Barcelona. Two 15-day itineraries sail roundtrip from Barcelona visiting ports such as Toulon, France; Sicily and Sardinia, Italy; Tunis, Tunisia; and Palma de Mallorca and Valencia in Spain. The ship will overnight in Barcelona and Rome. |
