A
chance meeting with Blanca-Stella at a trade function in Florida gave me the
opportunity to chat with this long time, experience cruise professional during
which I learned that she had just returned from an extensive trip visiting most
of U-Cruises fleet of cruise ships.
Lanao has 20 years’ experience
working in the travel industry with 11 years as
director of international accounts for Regent Seven
Seas. She also spent time at Fairfield Communities
as director of international travel sales and at the
Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors
Bureau as director of sales for Latin America,
Caribbean and Asia. Most recently she consulted for
a number of travel firms in Mexico and South
America.
Lanao speaks fluent English and Spanish with working knowledge of Portuguese and French. She has an AA degree from Junior College in Bogotá, Colombia and is a Certified Travel Industry Consultant (CTC).
