Compagnie du Ponant has appointed Clem Galindo as the director of corporate and incentive sales for the North American sales office in Miami. He will work with clients and travel planners to book meetings, incentive trips and custom charters for up to 264 guests on the line’s four vessels.

“With his inspired leadership and extensive meetings and incentives experience, he will not only expand our relationships with corporate and incentive clients, but also enable us to develop stronger ties with meeting and third-party travel partners,” said Terri Haas, chief operating officer for Compagnie du Ponant.

Before joining Compagnie du Ponant, Galindo was manager-corporate and incentive sales for Royal Caribbean International. Before that, he served as director of incentive sales for Atlantis, The Cove, an all-suite hotel that is part of Kerzner International Resorts. Galindo began his career specializing in the incentive sales market with Royal Caribbean International, holding various management positions during 17 years with the company.
