The end of November saw the Worldwide team and several of our cruise line partners in Barcelona exhibiting at the EIBTM Show.

Under Worldwide's umbrella, Windstar, Seadream, Compagne du Ponant, NCL as well as Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Ociania Cruises shared a very busy booth which was constantly abuzz with clients looking not only for corporate cruise information, but more excitingly specific quotes for both groups and charters.

The show attendance was up, considerably if what we experienced was anything to go by.  Whether this was due to more confidence in the world's markets or simply because the show date was move back a couple of weeks remains to be seen.

Barcelona is a great venue for the show, both the exhibition halls and the city itself are ideal for hosting such a prestigious travel industry event.

Worldwide has been a supporter of the EIBTM since its earliest days with our attendance going back to the 2nd show when it was held In Geneva, Switzerland.  Over the years we have seen the show space continue to grow larger and larger with more and more exhibitors from all areas of the corporate travel industry.

No question about it, the move to the Hosted Buyer Program gave the show a big boost and although this has made exhibiting considerably more expensive, never the less we do feel that it has brought in quality buyers who pre-book their meetings with the exhibitors ahead of time.

Worldwide and our cruise line partners will unquestionably be back in Barcelona next year.
