Frank Weber - VP F&B for RCI is leaving
Frank Weber, who has led food and beverage operations at Royal Caribbean International for the past decade, is leaving.  His last day will be Thursday. A company spokeswoman said a replacement has not been determined.

As vp food and beverage operations, Weber fostered many new and varied dining concepts. For example, when Oasis of the Seas debuted in 2009, it brought 24 dining experiences, from the exclusive 150 Central Park to the casual Seafood Shack in the Boardwalk neighborhood.

In May Weber received the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association Silver Plate Award in the Hotel and Lodging category, the first time the IFMA recognized a cruise line executive.

On receiving the award, Weber said it reaffirmed Royal Caribbean’s ‘commitment to continually deliver the Royal Advantage to our guests through diverse and innovative dining concepts that rival any land-based establishments.’

Recently he has been featured in the Food & Wine/Royal Caribbean ‘masters’ video series, highlighting culinary experts in different areas.

Before joining Royal Caribbean in 2002, Weber was a hotel director for Radisson Seven Seas Cruises. Earlier positions were with Topspin Restaurant Group and Pan Hotel Services, and he spent seven years with Norwegian Cruise Line.
