Doyle heads up sales and marketing for Captain Cook Cruises

The Adelaide-based SeaLink Travel Group which bought the Sydney Harbor and Murray River operations of Captain Cook Cruises last August has appointed Richard Doyle head of sales and marketing worldwide.

Doyle launched Doyle Tourism Services in 2010 after 11-and-a-half years with Tourism Northern Territory where he was the Sydney-based director Japan, Asia and Cruise.

Before joining TNT he had a 20-year career with Australian Pacific Touring (now APT), a major European river cruise ship operator and served four consecutive two-year terms as chairman of Cruise Down Under.

As previously reported, Jackie Haworth-Charlton, a daughter of Captain Cook Cruises founder Capt. Trevor Haworth who has been in charge of sales and marketing for more than 10 years, is now Managing Director of Captain Cook Cruises Fiji which is still owned by the Haworth family.
