News from Worldwide

Is it the economy or just pent up demand filtering through now we are hearing that the economy is improving?  Either way, we are happy to say that our clients are calling with more business opportunities.

A look around Worldwide's offices brings it home, our team is busier than ever, desk littered with emails, enquires and happily, draft contracts being worked on.

It appears our team is going to be stretched over the next few months, we have several charters and a number of groups to be delivered as well as site inspections and client meetings.

Leon Banossian the account rep. for our R&B client has just returned from sailing on the HAL ship - Nieuw Amsterdam, our 16th charter for this long time client - Legendary Rhythm and Blues- with another contract recently signed for their 17th sailing through Worldwide (in fact their 20th charter).

Last Sunday, Leon was busy co-coordinating a group departure out of Miami and later doing two RCCI ship inspections with a prospective purchaser.

A couple of weekend ago Steve Bloss co-hosted a group of travel professionals on RCCI's "Liberty of the Seas" for a site inspection built around our recent tie in with - Hosts Global (Worldwide is their exclusive cruise provider) - the concept being that a number of the Host Global team invite one of their prospective cruise clients to sample the RCCI product.  It was a successful cruise with interest being shown by some of the attendees in placing groups on cruise ships.

Diana Bloss is finalizing programming for one of our long time clients for their very first full ship charter - on the "Paul Gauguin". As it is the clients first charter she will be sailing with the lucky winners. This will be her third trip in 2 years to the region, she has become quite the expert on French Polynesia.

Early as it may seem we are also committing to the 4 trade shows Worldwide will participate in this year as well as blocking time for various industry events.  Our corporate calendar is filling fast.

Hopefully you, our client are also seeing similar movement in your business?  I am happy to remind you that our team is as committed as ever to work with you on any cruise ideas you may have. Don't go it alone, we have lots of ideas and creativity to not only make your program a success but also to put additional money in your pocket.

Feel free to call us for a no nonsense, no fee chat about any program your working on, I guarantee it will be an informative and time well spent.
