The 90-passenger Tere Moana will sail its first voyage for Paul Gauguin Cruises on Dec. 29. The seven-night Caribbean cruise with chairman Richard Bailey on board follows a renovation of the former Le Levant. During 2013,

Tere Moana will operate in Europe in the summer and spend winter in the Caribbean and Latin America. In Europe, the ship will sail varied seven-night cruises from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, Venice, Piraeus, Istanbul and Lisbon.

For example, Barcelona to Civitavecchia voyages on April 20 and Aug. 17 call at Sète and St. Tropez in France, Monte Carlo and, in Italy, Portofino, Livorno and Portoferraio (Elba).

Cruises from Civitavecchia to Venice on May 11 (Chairman’s Cruise) and Aug. 24, visit Italy’s Lipari and Giardini Naxos (for Taormina), Corfu in Greece, Montenegro’s Kotor, and Croatia’s Dubrovnik and Hvar.

Black Sea cruises round-trip Istanbul on June 1 and July 20 visit Nessebur, Bulgaria; Constanta, Romania; Odessa and Yalta, Ukraine; and Sinop, Turkey.

Tere Moana’s seven-night Caribbean cruises include round-trips from St. Martin to Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, St. Kitts, Les Saintes and St. Barts. Departures are Dec. 29 (Chairman’s Cruise), March 9, 16 and 23; Nov. 20 and Dec. 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The Latin American cruises, 13 and 14 nights including the Panama Canal, sail between St. Martin and Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica, on Jan. 5 and Feb. 24. Ports are St. Barts, Les Saintes, Curaçao, Aruba, Colombia’s Cartagena (overnight), Panana’s Isla de Coiba (Jan. 5 sailing only) and Costa Rica’s Marenco.

The ship will also operate a pair of 14-night trans-Atlantic cruises, from St. Martin to Lisbon on March 30, and from Malága, Spain, to St. Martin on Nov. 16.

Tere Moana has inclusive pricing, covering gratuities, soft drinks,  select wines and spirits.
