A retractable roof covers one of four pools, while the Il Bar del Sole area on the top deck has a solarium and whirlpools. The ship has 16 bars and lounges, including the Tiger Bar, themed after the striped feline, and four restaurants, including a large new buffet area and an à la carte restaurant, L’Oasi, with a Moroccan atmosphere. Mauro Uliassi, a Michelin-starred chef, will offer selections in L’Oasi that will be soon offered in all of the Musica-class à la carte restaurants.
Other entertainment features include a 4D cinema, mini-bowling alley and a billiard table in the L’Olimpiade sports bar. L’Olimpiade is the first sports bar in the Musica-class, and its theme is inspired by the Olympics. The MSC Aurea Spa offers spa treatments including two created just for the ship Aurea Papaveris, a 60-minute slimming and cellulite treatment, and a Himalayan massage.
The MSC Magnifica sails seven-night Eastern Mediterranean itineraries departing Venice and calling at Bari, Italy; Katakolon (Olympia) Greece; Izmir and Istanbul, Turkey; and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
